🍰 Students of the MSc FPPE recently had the opportunity to visit Conditorei Coppenrath & Wiese KG, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of frozen bakery products.

The visit offered a comprehensive tour of the entire production process, giving students a rare and detailed look at how high-quality cakes and desserts are produced on an industrial scale — from raw material handling to packaging and logistics. In addition to the factory tour, the company provided an engaging presentation on its history, growth, and the success of current product lines. This gave students a valuable perspective on how tradition and innovation go hand in hand at Coppenrath & Wiese.

An exciting takeaway from the visit: students now have the opportunity to collaborate with the company on case studies or master’s theses, opening up new possibilities for academic-industry partnerships.
