Discover the unique Artland Campus in Quakenbrück, where food science meets innovation and academic learning connects with industry practice
Welcome to the Food Science and Technology Campus Artland – a side-branch of the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) with unique learning environment in Quakenbrück, designed for students who want more than a traditional university experience.
Familiar atmosphere in an innovative food environment
Unlike large campuses, the Artland Campus offers a personal atmosphere. With fewer students and specialized programs, you’ll benefit from direct interaction with experts, collaboration with peers, and a strong connection to food companies. Classrooms are located within the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), bringing you closer to real-world food science and technology.
Access to state-of-the-art laboratories and pilot plants – facilities that almost no conventional university can offer
At the Artland Campus, you don’t just learn theory, you apply it in an industry-relevant setting, gaining hands-on experience that will give you a competitive edge in your future career. Beyond academics, the campus is set in the tranquil countryside of Quakenbrück, offering the perfect environment for focused learning and personal well-being. Enjoy the benefits of a peaceful, green setting, while still being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking scientific community.
And while the campus does not have a traditional cafeteria, this is an opportunity to embrace flexibility and culinary creativity! Whether you prefer cooking your own meals, exploring local eateries, or enjoying fresh regional products, you have the freedom to choose how you fuel your studies. After all, what better place to experiment with food than at a campus dedicated to food science?
