🌟 The second orientation week for our new students took place in Quakenbrück, marking the beginning of their exciting two-year journey at the Artland Campus. The students were able to familiarize themselves with their new academic home, setting the stage for the semesters ahead.

One of the highlights was a fascinating Night Watchman Tour through Quakenbrück, where students learned about the town’s rich history, local legends, and charming landmarks. It was a perfect introduction to their new surroundings, providing a deeper connection to the community they will call home for the next two years.

In addition to this cultural immersion, the students attended their first lectures at the Artland Campus, meeting their professors and diving into their academic work. They also had the opportunity to visit several local businesses, learning about the region’s industry and gaining insights into potential future collaborations or career
opportunities.

The week was also a time to take care of essential administrative tasks. Students completed final arrangements with the foreign office, registered with the local city authorities, and opened their bank accounts — all key steps in settling into life in Germany.

It was a busy but exciting week, filled with new experiences, practical learning, and essential preparations. We are excited to see how our students will continue to grow and thrive at the Artland Campus in the coming months.
