After a summer of practicals, company visits, and well-earned breaks, it’s time. Winter Semester 3 is here and with it, the part of the programme many of you have been building toward since day one: the Intensive Case Study.

This semester marks a real shift. The lectures and labs of first year gave you the tools. Now it’s about using them. The Intensive Case Study, is your opportunity to work on a real, applied research question at the intersection of food process and product engineering. Alongside that, Food Biotechnology and Biochemistry rounds out your compulsory modules, and your two chosen electives let you go deeper into the specialisations that matter most to you. 

It’s a demanding semester, but also a deeply rewarding one. You are no longer just learning the field, you are starting to contribute to it.
